Everton FC Announce New 3rd Kit

Everton chairman Bill Kenwright has recently laid bare the scale of the financial problems at Everton admitting that bankers have forced the club to reduce costs and have blocked additions to David Moyes's squad.

Furthermore, proceeds from recent player sales their former training ground sold for £9m, had been taken by Barclays to reduce debts of £45m.

Quick to stimulate income prior to the looming summer transfer window close, Everton have held a press conference earlier today to announce the launch of their new 3rd strip and a deal with five new sponsors.

The new kit features the same design and colour scheme as the current away strip and features the logos of five new sponsors (Pukka Pies, RyanAir, Facebook, Family Dollar and the US Army.) Though the latter was inspired by goalkeeper Tim Howard's 2011/2012 kit, it will not feature on the camouflaged uniform.

Another sponsorship point of note for the newly announced 3rd is the omission of the Chang logo that has been emblasoned across the chest of Everton kits for sometime.

Handbags with the clubs primary sponsor you might ask? Hardly. The removal of the Chang logo on the new 3rd strip was agreed after Everton and Chang renegotiated their contract to include stadium renaming from Goodison Park to "The House of Chang" as well as the the sweetener deal to have "the Toffees" nickname officially replaced by "the Chang Gang."

Kenwright made a brief appearance at the unveiling to note that this deal would not offend the Amauri people and that "muthaf*s needs to get paid up in here."

Okay, so I made that last part up.
